Ready for a “creative adventure”?
The 37 artists and craftspeople of the Elora-Fergus Studio Tour invite you to their studios, for two consecutive weekends this Fall.
This Free event attracts hundreds of visitors from all over the country. You'll get a chance to meet directly with the artists, and often see work not shown in gallery settings. You'll be able to visit the working spaces of both established and emerging artists, from basements to self-contained studios.
Mediums include painting, glass, clay, metal, sculpture, photography, batik, quilting, weaving, wood, fine art, and mixed media.
The Village of Elora is set in one of the most picturesque areas of Ontario. Scottish stonemasons built the village of Elora along the Grand River and the spectacular Elora Gorge in the heart of Ontario's farmland. More than a hundred years have passed, but Elora's charming village atmosphere and century-old buildings remain little changed. Elora's closest neighbour, Fergus, is only a short distance away. Both villages' warm, inviting setting makes this Studio Tour along with some shopping and dining a most memorable experience.
With its inspiring scenery, and historic and appealing village charm, there's good reason why so many artists have made the Elora-Fergus region home to their creative talents.
