The Process

Whether it's one of our ready-to-use template web-packages, or a full-blown custom-designed website solution for a larger business, the process for creating your own website is easier than you may think... And if you already own a website but have been thinking about updating it a bit or giving it a new “facelift”, we can help you with that, too.

STEP 1 - We first create an Account/Profile for your contact information.

STEP 2 - You choose which of the 4 Website Packages is the right one for you.

• Three of our packages offer nine unique template choices. One is our Custom solution.

STEP 3 - If you've chosen a template solution, simply fill out the online Website Submission Form. If you're a little uncomfortable or unfamiliar with online submission forums, you may phone us and we'll do all that we can over the phone and/or via email. (If your needs are more elaborate or you prefer a Custom website, phone us at (403) 251-4333. Alternately, if you're local, we can also meet with you to determine your needs and subsequently begin your website.)

• If applicable, determine an available domain name you would like to use for your website and we can then offer you our website hosting service, if you desire (eg. www.mysite.com). Alternately, we can also host you directly on our A&CNet site (eg. www.artsandcraftsnet.com/~mysite.com).
• Select your desired design from our Website Templates.
• Select your website colours
• Provide us with graphic images and/or photographs
• Provide us with your business logo (if applicable)
• Provide us with information about your business.

• Provide us with all textual content that will be displayed on your website (Editorial and writing services are not included though some basic editing will be done if necessary; however, if you require this service please contact us for details.)

• Provide us with your preferred site colour scheme. (Remember that the package you choose and how we customize it for you, must naturally reflect your individual business needs and make your new website both unique and effective. We always recommend that your colours reflect your existing marketing materials.)

• Mix and match your pages however you desire. (View our sample templates for some ideas on what you may want to do for your pages. Always include a Homepage and a Contact page, or perhaps an About us or Bio page. Plus you will want to highlight your products and services or even have some Gallery pages to showcase your works.)

• Submit the form to us

• Upon receiving it, we will contact you to process your payment over the phone, if you're paying by credit card. If you plan to pay by cheque or money order, we will begin the work on your site once we have received your payment.

• It's that simple.

We do the rest —

• Our web developers will begin creating your website and will email or phone you within 3 – 5 business days from purchase, to advise you when your web site is ready for previewing.

• At that point, you may contact us with any comments and changes you may like to make.

• We will then perform these final changes and upon your approval publish your website. Typically, your website will be created and “go Live” within 5 – 7 business days.
